I am a researcher in the field of ecology/hydrobiology with a keen interest in anything related to the natural environment and music. My all-time hobby is playing the saxophone in variuos local bands, and I've always been facinated by the music and musicians of different cultures and especially how it is related to their way of life.

I think I chose couchsurfing out of pure curiosity, I have never tried it during my travels so far. I hope to experience what it feels like to meet interesting people from around the world, either as a traveller or a host.

I had the opportunity to play the saxophone in the musical show of a theater with professionals. That was definitely a unique experience for a researcher :)
