Hello All, 🖐

Guy from Cracow here. My passion, since I remember, was computer programming 💻 (as well as other technical stuff), so logically I finished engineering studies and ended up as a programmer. Other of my interests concentrate upon a lot of things related to world and science.

Apart from that, I have a hobby related to... (human) languages 😜 and I'll be happy to learn something in yours. Recently (that is, years ago), I fell in love with Hungarian and it's grammar but I don't say no to any other language. There are so many to learn and possibly, in the future, I discover some of them. Who knows, which one is to be the next.

BTW, I am gradually moving towards remote working with my aim to once become a digital nomad. 🏝

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Some years ago, I did my first solo trips, which were better than I expected. 🚀 From that moment on, I always wanted to try out new things. In spring 2018, I hitchhiked 👍🚗 for the first time with a friend of mine, and that was a real lifetime adventure and gave me so much joy and new experiences! Unfortunately, I still haven't tried CS. I'm looking forward to meet new people - whether they're gosts or whether they're hosts. 🤷‍♀️

Música, películas y libros

Some of my favorite music bands include: Sigur Ros, Rise Against, RHCP, Offspring, Green Day, Roxette.

And when it comes to books: Technical ones 🔧 mainly take my time, but from I loved The Witcher Saga and recommend it to anyone. There are couple other fantasy books I've read. Sometimes it happens I read a classic novel too, '1984' by Orwell being my favorite.

There are two movies which strongly influenced but I can't explain it entirely: Shawshank Redemption and Into the Wild.

From time to time, I attend language exchange meetups and conversations.

I can offer to exchange my native Polish or advanced English (probably you'd be interested in the second if you're learning it just like me). I would be very glad if you could help me improve my English skills or teach me anything in your native language, whatever language it is.

I can even teach you basics of computer programming if you're curious about it, but say, don't know how to start.

If you're a board nerd, I'd love to play something with and your friends. I would gladly play cards (texas hold'em on my mind) or chess too.

I'm mostly open to go around, go sightseeing, see some nature.

Of course, I can offer my place in Cracow, if only it's possible in a given time, if you'd like to visit the city in the future.
