I'll always choose great conversation and laughs with good beer at someone's home over going out to noisy bars/clubs with terrible music. I enjoy spending time with people who don't take life too seriously and value great relationships and experiences over material things.

I have recently been living near Istanbul, so I'll be glad to explore the city with other travelers when I have time..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m pretty new to Couchsurfing. I still love meeting travelers at hostels, but I decided I wanted a better way to get to know local people and experience that perspective. So I found myself here on CS! I immediately fell in love with this community, where people are so generous to complete strangers for no reason other than our shared love of seeing the world and getting to know one another. It’s a beautiful thing!

I think cultural exchange and exposure to diverse people and experiences is the best way to create a more peaceful, tolerant world. I love travel in general, and all of my most impactful experiences have been visiting or meeting people from countries that most Americans have little exposure to.

I look forward to meeting some amazing, interesting, funny, quirky people and learning to see through your eyes.
