Hola! I’m originally from the Netherlands and I love traveling, being adventurous, and exploring places I’ve never been before. Last year I quit my job and moved to Barcelona. I recently bought a motorbike so I can discover more of the city and its surroundings.

I’m currently looking for places to stay and would be happy to help out with gardening, small projects, or other tasks. I also love practicing my Spanish (B1 level at the moment), so any opportunity to speak would be amazing.

I’m spontaneous, open-minded, and genuinely curious about different cultures and people. I enjoy not having a strict plan, as it allows me to say yes to new opportunities that come my way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have loved all that the Couchsurfing community has had to offer. I really enjoy meeting new people and experiencing a culture from a local's perspective. Couchsurfing is really the most authentic way to travel as it allows you to gain a deeper understanding of people and of a country. I love to hear about people's cultures, stories, and experiences. I want to explore various parts of the country and hope to have the opportunity to stay with CS hosts!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago, on my first solo-trip, I traveled to New Zealand for a few weeks... loved it so much... and decided to stay for 9 months! I worked at a restaurant in Auckland, bought my own car, and had the freedom to travel wherever I wanted to. I had such an incredible time and ever since, I have been really enthusiastic about travelling and seeing new places around the world, mostly on my own. My time in New Zealand made me realise that there is so much out there and so many amazing people to meet.
