Hi! I'm from the Netherlands and I love to travel, to be adventurous and to go to places where I've never been. I am spontaneous and curious about cultures and people and love not having a plan as it lets me say yes to any opportunity that comes my way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have loved all that the Couchsurfing community has had to offer. I really enjoy meeting new people and experiencing a culture from a local's perspective. Couchsurfing is really the most authentic way to travel as it allows you to gain a deeper understanding of people and of a country. I love to hear about people's cultures, stories, and experiences. I want to explore various parts of the country and hope to have the opportunity to stay with CS hosts!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago, I traveled to New Zealand for a few weeks... loved it so much... and decided to stay for 8 months! I worked at a restaurant in Auckland, bought my own car, and had the freedom to travel wherever I wanted to. I had such an incredible time and ever since, I have been really enthusiastic about travelling and seeing new places around the world. My time in New Zealand made me realise that there is so much out there and so many amazing people to meet.
