Hi! My name is Aedin (pronounced A-deen - I am half Irish, aka...the name!). I am a Aussie who grew up in the far north of Australia, near Cairns, and loved growing up in the ocean and the rainforest.

I have lived in Queensland, in Western Australia, and in Alice Springs, in the very middle of Australia.

I love meeting new people and having conversations more then anything - it's honestly one of the biggest joys in life! Other then that Brad and I are both mad outdoors people, so we love to be hiking or camping at every opportunity possible.

My partner, Brad, and I are heading off on a 9 month adventure to Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, Jordan, Israel, Georgia and Turkey. We are so excited to see so many parts of the world, learn about the incredibly diverse cultures, tackle lots of camping and hiking and most of all - meet a lot of new people!

We are on couch surfing to meet locals as Brad and I love to travel and experience life as locals do! There is so much incredible knowledge to be gained from having conversations with locals, and sharing stories.

When we return to Australia we can't wait to return the favour and share our country with travellers.

I obsessively read - and will really read anything and everything. This years goal is to read books from each country we travel to in order to learn more about the history and the culture.

Algo increíble que he hecho

When Brad and I were 22 and 23 years old we headed off on our first big adventure - one year making our way from South America to USA. We taught ourself (dodgy) Spanish and had a lot of hilarous conversations through all the errors we made. We experienced the generosity and kindness of so many locals in South and Central America, who let us fumble our way through practising the language with them! Through this trip our two greatest loves of our life were born - travel and hiking! This adventure inspired us to then move to different places in Australia, and to always be planning the next adventure...
