Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m a Couchsurfing member for many years, but I started using it actively when I went to France for Erasmus in 2022. I planned a route where I would visit 5 cities alone in Italy. And I can say that this trip to Italy was a turning point in my life.
I am addicted to travel! I like listening to new life stories and travel memories of people I meet while traveling. I also like seeing their daily life routin, learning about their local foods and visiting “non-touristy, hidden places” with them. And CS is the easiest and funniest way to do it.. Anddd i met a lot of amazing people on CS who i still keep in touch with.

Music, Movies, and Books

Generally i prefer alternative rock and 2000s Turkish rock (Kargo, Sakin, Malt, Kreş, 110, Karapaks) but I listen all kind of music which makes me feel good.. and i can say that i can’t live without music..
My favourite movies are Interstellar, Schindler’s List, The Pianist,(..generally psychologic, historical movies..)
Facıurite tv series: Friends, Himym, Back to the Future, 11.22.63, Downtown Abbey, Kulüp, A Midnight in Pera Palace (i dont like to watch TV so much)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Hitchhiking from Antalya to Istanbul.. (720 km)
- Solo travelling to Italy with my backpack
- 6 months Erasmus in France
- Working at a festival and visiting 10 cities non-stop in 26 days. Without spending money, i traveled the whole country, stayed at the best chain-hotels, met famous singers and made wonderful friends 🤭

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experiences , teach some main patterns in my language if you want.. Besides, i can show you my city and some traditional foods..
