I am Chilean, I was born in Viña del Mar, but I grew up in Calera de Tango, a small rural town, with beautiful green landscapes, located at the south of Santiago. Despite my love for the peace of the countryside, three years ago I moved with a friend to the center of Santiago and, since then, I have become a lover of this city, its architecture and its vibrant rhythm. So I have no problem showing you what I have known so far about the city.
Besides, I am an anthropologist, interested in education, interculturality and indigenous peoples. So I work with indigenous communities and community organizations in environmental project contexts, with the dream that one day I'll open my own ONG.
In adittion, I would describe myself as a scout, since I actively participated in the movement from 11 to 22 years old, reason because I loved camping, being sorround by nature.
However, first of all I like to travel and and encourage me to leave the comfort zone and live new experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

About music my taste is very wide, from Queen, going through indie folk (Of Monster and Men, The Luminners) to Latin Music, lately I've been listening a lot Natalia Lafourcade. However, I don't feel that I know much about music, but I love when people show me new groups and much more, I love to dance. Movies, Birdman, Inception, Harry Potter, Forest Gump, (especially the 3rd one), Mulan. Books, so many, especially Gabriel García Marquez (Cien años de soledad), Harry Potter, thrilles and historical novels in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did an exchange in new zeland and I jumped from the nevis swing, the biggest world's swing, located in Queewnstown, NZ. It is the third highest bungee jumping platform in the world at a height of 134 meters. I never thought I would do it, but then I felt like the bravest women in the world lol.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking for them, as I was a vegetarian for a long time (today I consume a little meat, although almost nothing) I have learned to cook many dishes and I am glad that people enjoy the ones I cook. Also, happy to invite a couple of beers and share a good conversation.
