About Me

Hello all, I'm a little Frenchie the world. Like all my fellow frog brothers and sisters, I'll try to cook you something to show my immense gratitude (preferably not frogs) if you choose to host me. I'm pretty laid back and adaptable so no pressure for anything.

See you soon !!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Midnight. The boat is full with sounds. All the creaking, hissing and booming of a little vessel in the middle of a storm. It's time for my shift. I put on some sailing pants, a waterproof jacket and a lifejacket. I'm finally ready to spend the next hours under the pouring rain, vaguely steering our nutshell of a boat towards the Azores. I open the hatch and emerge into the piloting station. Slight problem : the captain is nowhere to be seen and the wheel is ont the ground. Is he dead ? Squinting my eyes I can finally see him, lying down at the stern, trying to desperately steer the ship with a rope tied around the tiller (the big wooden thing at the back of sailing vessels that plunges into the sea to also steer them). While we were sleeping like babies in our cabins, the wheel broke into his hands and he had to find a quick solution to avoid a nice little shipwreck. I quickly woke up the other captain and replaced him. They spend the night fixing the wheel in the underbelly of the boat. As dawn broke out, the ship regained its full abilities and continue bobing up and down the waves. Nothing happened, west we go !
