Hi everybody,
I grew up in a small town in the west of Germany at the border to the Netherland. After my regular school and my first apprenticeship as a IT assistent I didn't really know what I want to do in my life and then I decided to explore the world. In 2011 and 2012 I worked as a volunteer in Costa Rica and Ecuador at a animal sancuary and a biological reserve.
Back in Germany I traveled around the country and worked in internships in different zoos and started in 2014 my apprenticeship as a zookeeper in Leipzig.
Now I am on my second big journey but this time I am travelling with my girlfriend together. We quit everything in Germany and we have been on the way since the middle of August.
We flew to Toronto and soon we are in the USA and after this in Central America. Let's see where we will go afterwards...

I like it to be in the nature, see other places in the world and meet everywhere new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of travelling without or with less money and it is nice to have a local person in a new city who can show all the great places in the town.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Ecuador I was on the river Napo where the Amazon rainforest begins.
There at a beach were a group of wild capuchin monkeys with over 20 animals.
I sat there a hole day with some friends and all the time the monkeys played together and with us and stole small things from the other people. After a while the alpha male came to me, took a seat on my lap and gave me his stolen spoil. I gave him a lighter, he played a while with this and gave it back to me.
