At the moment I am professor and researcher in the Technological Institute of Celaya, focusing on the study of new materials. I am a founding member of Movimiento Angel (Angel Movement), which focuses on social work activities such as giving out Christmas dinners, toys, clothes, pantry, to people of limited resources and in situations of vulnerability. Also, I am president of Mas Ciencia por México (More Science for Mexico) a nonprofit organization that works for improved access, advancement, and popularization of science and technology in Mexico.
