Overview
About Me
I am a 24 years old medical student, I'm Italian, but I was born in Switzerland, in Zurich. I lived there for 10 years. I've been living in Italy, in the Marche Region (where my mother comes from), since 2003, when my Italian parents decided to settle here. I am also a Red Cross volunteer.
I love cooking, wich I must say is a good skill of mine, and trekking in the beautiful mountains of my region. I love literature, both Italian and English authors. I am really interested in history, which could be a further gradutation in a far future, not for the moment, because I am really busy in med school. The Beatles are my favourite band, but I am really open to every kind of music, I like to "experiment". Unfortunately, I am not able to play any instrument. Of course, medicine is my biggest passion and I think it is one of the ways we have to really help people and make the world a better place, which in my opinion means being there where suffering is.
I like to know new people and I am really curious of different ways of living and looking at the world (the thing Germans call "Weltanschauung"). In fact, I think travelling is one of the best things a man can do during his life, and the money you spend in journeys is the best investment one could do, because it comes out in memories which are unvaluable and very significant, a thing you will never lose. That's why knowing new people is really exciting to me, it brightens your views. Confucians say something like this: "Once you know a person, he will bring a piece of you with him for ever, and the same will be for you, you will no longer be the same".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like knowing new people, points of view, and get in deep contact with the thing that makes every place different (but maybe also a little bit the same), the people that live in there.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite band are the Beatles, generally said beat music and the sixties, but I am always discovering new things, and I am open to new genres of music.
I can't say I have a favourite book, it would be really hard to say. Different authors and books have had an important meaning to me and list them would be really hard and I surely would forget something.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like cooking and I could teach some Italian cookery. I could also teach some Italian, which is one of the most beautiful languages of the world, and not beacuse I am Italian...
