About Me

So far I have spend my life in Czech republic, traveling only around Europe, for the pas four years studying international relations in Prague and living with my friends in a small flat which is highly imperfect but full of great memories, poetic stories and beer. I am really keen on being a student, I love to dedicate time and effort to gain education, information and knowledge to see world bigger, brighter and wilder and to understand it better. I want a lot of things in life, i want to see, feel and know as much as possible and traveling is one of the best ways how to manage it. I am really interested in people, their stories, knowledge, lives and experiences since sharing those things does bring me joy and fulfillment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Firstly I have to admit that I can not offer my place in Prague for other travelers to stay since it is too small and there is already too many people living in it who are not that comfortable with the idea of more people staying in here. Therefore I am on Couchsurfing because I love to travel and this is amazing way how to experience more and get to know more of the world. I also love to meet new people who can share with me their experiences and stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is so much of my favorites of all those things that it would feel unfair to choose only some of them therefore I will only name few for you to make a picture. In terms of music there is a lot of bands and styles I like, e.g. the Beatles the Smiths, Leonard Cohen, Cage the elephant, the Rolling Stones, Nick Cave, Jacque Brel, Nirvana, Zaz, Dylan, Hugh Laurie, REM, the Velvet underground, wild child, sparklehorse, Solstafir, and a lot of Czech interprets which are probably unknown for most of you. In terms of books I really love classic Czech authors from the last century who were part of the underground stream during the communism era in Czechoslovakia, but I also love Henry Miller, Bukowski, Robert Fulghum , Orwell, Graham Greene, and others and others, there is so many amazing authors I can not recall them right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

According to my high standards I guess I have not done yet anything special, I have not contributed to the peace on the Near East or published a poetry book or influenced many people but i do know how to see beauty in world and people although it is almost impossible sometimes and I am dreamer therefore I do believe that one day I will be able to answer this question differently.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have the tendency to live as fully as possible which sounds poetic in theory but in terms of reality it can get really tricky. Therefore I can provide my passion for adventure and unexpected situations which are most of the time funny and grotesque since most of the time you can laugh at my incompetence and ability to mess up almost daily regular tasks. I can share a lot of my crazy stories from living in Prague since I am the type of person who is not very compatible with reality and that is the reason for most of my "troubles".

What I Can Share with Hosts

laugh, beer, stories, old jokes (in which I am horrible at). long conversations about books, music, the meaning of life or the crisis of democracy in the 21th century, I can cook ( a bit, most of the time I am quite chaotic and way too much impulsive in the kitchen but it is funny during the process, it is less funny when you have to eat it).

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Denmark, England, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Tunisia
