Overview
About Me
Just an English guy who retired at 52 and came to stay in Thailand. To be free and among happy people. I hope I'm also a happy person to.
Happy to host other active couchsurfing hosts, an opportunity to share.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Trying to meet interesting people. Have more friends across the world. To give and take. To meet other active hosts and share
Interests
I love the outdoors and also have a home upcountry north of Bangkok where I live with my dogs and regularly go out on my ATVs and kayaks. I love to meet new people and travel. In Bangkok I love to eat out and go to the cinema and Classical concerts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Retired at 52 and came to spend time in Thailand
Teach, Learn, Share
I have studied Thai and oil massage in Thailand. I'm always willing to give a massage or teach someone. The Thai massage I give is very different from that given in a massage parlour. The Wat Po style massage focuses mainly on the meridian energy line. The massage should free the flow of chi around you body. I have also studied other alternative therapies.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm usually only in Bangkok a few days a week. Usually Tuesday to Friday morning. So normally I host for 2-3 days. My life is unpredictable, so booking more than 3 weeks in advance might get a maybe response and be changed to a yes or no at least 3 weeks in advance. My life is not normal, so you can ask for any date. If you don't ask, you won't get it.
