Abdulkerim Sen is a doctor research assistant in the department of social studies education at Amasya University in Turkey. Abdulkerim completed his PhD in democratic citizenship education at UCL Institute of Education (London-UK) in 2017. He was awarded with a master of science degree in social studies education from Florida State University in 2013. His doctoral thesis examined the evolution of citizenship education in Turkey with a focus on the role of international agencies. His works have so far appeared in London Review of Education and Journal of Social Science Education.
