About Me

Matt and I (Lindsey) are traveling to experience the world while we have the opportunity. We run our own business in Fargo, ND but are currently able to work remotely. Last spring we took the leap and committed to traveling full time for a year. We sold our house and our car to be able to travel.

Matt is really into experiencing new food and cooking techniques in the places we visit. I love all kinds of art and we both love beer so traveling for us is a tour of the senses.

We're super easygoing, respectful guests who are willing to help out where ever it's needed. Learning new board games, going out and partying or just enjoying a nice conversation are all things we're up for given the opportunity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to experience a new place is from the locals! That's why we're Couchsurfing, to meet people from different places, that have different experiences to share.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drank local rice whiskey with Karen people in the Thai mountains
Swam with whale sharks in Mexico
Hiked the Monk's Trail in Chiang Mai, Thailand
Slept in a church at the Dutch beach
Stayed in the jungle with monkeys in Thailand
Canoed the headwaters of the Mississippi River

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning new recipes and dipping into the local language are things we're interested in while staying in a new place.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lindsey makes kick-ass American breakfast and Matt can cook amazing dinners for you! Cocktail mixology, casual or fancy American cooking, or a recently acquired skill of Thai cuisine are all things that we can share with our hosts! One thing we really miss while traveling is hosting friends for food and cocktails so if you like, we can do this with you.
