hello, we are twin sisters, and we created couchsurfing, because we like to travel and to know the world. We were born in Brazil, near São Paulo, in an anthroposophical community in the rural area, we grew up on the farm, a beautiful childhood, and last year 2016 we graduated in Waldorf school. So we decided to spend a year doing volunteer work, and we chose to go to South Africa, where we are working at Camphill, which is a community where we work with people with special disabilities. But we decided to work in different cities, so I (Beatriz) I'm near Cape town, in West Coust, and Helena, is in Hermanos. And now we are living this wonderful experience. ..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, two of the volunteers, that was working here with me, they told me that the couchsurfing is very good, and they were using it to travel here around Africa.

Interests

my interests... I do not know exactly what to say, well I have interest in many things, I like to travel, I like to know, I am interested in people, I find the human being very interesting, I am interested in different cultures, I like riding, I like to be in nature, I like to sing, to dance ... My interests are infinitos ..:

Music, Movies, and Books

well, I like almost all kinds of music, I like good music, I just do not like those types of rock really heavy, (but I like rock) and I do not like pop either, but here. books, I like books that have a strong history, I like adventure, knowledge, romance .. and movies, I like almost all kinds, but I love watching a movie that makes you think, I like true stories, and interesting subjects ..

Teach, Learn, Share

What can I teach? well I like to talk about stars and planets, universe, but I do not know too much, it's something I would love to learn. maybe some types of Brazilian dance, or ride a horse, draw as well. But talking about learning, I'm open to learning everything, and I'm open to sharing everything I can.
