About Me

Hello beautiful souls,

I’m a 26-year-old from Bergamo, freshly graduated in Medicine in Brescia. But beyond studies and titles, what defines me is my endless curiosity for people and the different ways they choose to live.

During my Erasmus in Murcia, Spain, I learned that the essence of travel is not the distance covered, but the connections made. There, I met Marta, my Croatian partner in life and adventures, and since then my journeys have been guided by the desire to dive into the unknown with open arms and an open heart.

One of the most transformative experiences for me was a long trip hitchhiking and Couchsurfing from Baku all the way to Rome. That road taught me more than any classroom ever could: that every encounter has a meaning, that every shared meal or song can light up the soul, and that hospitality is a universal language.

I would describe myself as enterprising, gentle, loving, and full of passion for life. I am, above all, a lover of people. I like to let myself be influenced, inspired, and reshaped by the stories and lifestyles of those I meet. My years as a scout deeply shaped this spirit of sharing and adventure, teaching me that freedom and community are not opposites, but companions.

Some things I carry with me everywhere:

-My guitar, because music is the shortest bridge between two souls.

-My books, especially Zorba the Greek, The Stranger by Camus, and Lem’s Solaris – guides that remind me of the mystery and beauty of existence.

-Music of all kinds, from Italian classics to Spanish rhythms (C. Tangana has been a recent discovery).

-And the joy of cooking, especially risotto, which has become my little signature dish.

For me, Couchsurfing is not about couches or roofs. It is about the invisible threads that weave us together, about finding pieces of myself reflected in strangers who quickly stop being strangers.

I look forward to sharing stories, laughter, food, and life itself with you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I believe travel is made of people, not places. Couchsurfing allows me to meet souls, share life around a table, and discover the world through the eyes of others. I’m here for connection, not convenience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I am deeply moved by Italian singer-songwriters, especially Battiato and De André. One song that never fails to stir me is Fou de Love by Branduardi. Music for me is more than sound; it is the bridge to emotion and the stories of the human soul.

Books: My favorites are Zorba the Greek, The Stranger by Camus, Solaris by Stanisław Lem, and works with existential depth like The Myth of Sisyphus. I am drawn to books that make me question life, confront meaning, and celebrate the beauty of existence.

Films: My reference film is La Grande Bellezza. To me, it embodies pure poetry, a reflection on beauty, life, and the fleeting moments that make existence unforgettable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-sleep outdoors in the most beautiful beach in Sardinia
