My name is Marie and I am an optimistic, resourceful, healthy 23 years old travel lover from France.
I love exploring new places and have a passion for meeting people from all over the world.
This sounds cliché I know but I'm so curious to hear your story and to find some similarities in our differences!

Minimalist, nature lover, mostly healthy, mostly vegan, environmentalist... those are a few things that describe me pretty well.

In my spare time I enjoy being in the outdoors, listening to podcasts, cooking cakes and sometimes just chilling out with a cup of tea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I listened to my friends saying that they've been really lucky to randomly meet lots of great people on their adventures I was always thinking : why not me? This seemed a great way to get to know local people or explore different places with other travellers. So for a year I basically did couchsurfing all around scandinavia and central+southern europe, and it helped me a lot. I'm so thankful for the people I got to meet and for the amazing experiences I got to live.

So it's mostly because of the possibity to get hosted by (and get to know) people alike when I travel, and to host people when I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- hitchhiked all the way from Finnish lapland to Helsinki on my own as the strong and independent woman I am
- done a xmas markets tour in europe which is the best thing that happened to me so far I'm sorry I just love this time of year
