Hi there, my name is Hannah!

I'm a german girl with a huge fondness of travel, so that's what I did for 1,5 years when I finished school 2017. I made my way around the world with my partner Adrian and when we came back we bought & converted a van into a cosy little camper that will take us around Europe from now on!

In October 2019, I started to study Media Design in a small university town in the beautiful Black Forest because creativity and communication are big interests and passions of mine. I love photography, making videos, writing, drawing and painting and creating all kind of things. I'm happy to share what I know and even more happy to learn new things from like-minded people!

I love being close to nature in general, it's my absolutely happy place. Especially at the ocean or in the mountains.
Time in nature & human connections are the most precious things I love to experience. I'm an outgoing person, very open-minded and positive and I can talk and laugh looots but also enjoy to be quiet and on my own.

Apart from photography and travelling I'm really into yoga, sustainability, hiking, (mostly plant based) cooking, watching sunsets, eating, surfing, inspiring conversations, connections, reading and dancing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I finished school 2017 and started traveling around the world with my boyfriend. We both LOVE to meet new people and experience the authentic, local life in the places we're visiting and we made some of the best experiences & best friends with fellow couchsurfers. ♥️
We mostly used it in Australia so far but it has totally changed the way we travel (in the most wonderful way) so I can't wait to meet many more awesome people all around Europe and wherever our trips will take us from now on!

Finding Nemo and Moana will forever be one of my favorites haha.
Apart from that really a looot of good movies out there! Also books, mostly novels and travel stories for me, but to many to pick a favourite!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One? Hard to say! Leaving my homecountry after high school to travel the world together with my boyfriend with an open ending all that was part of this I guess.
Then coming back to our families and friends, buying an old VW bus and converting it into a camper van, living the van life in Europe.
Moving to the Black Forest to study what I'm really interested in and actually waking up (almost) very day knowing that my life is so filled with love and joy. Wow.

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to learn more about photography, sustainability and alternative lifestyles, learning to surf at the moment, happy to learn about how other people live their lifes, what inspires and excites them...

I'm good at cooking and baking, photography, yoga and dancing, with animals, van conversions... I can teach you some macramee haha - happy to share our stories and experiences, or help you with anything in the house and garden.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My passion for cooking and food, good energy, all my skills if needed, music, chocolate, maybe a cup of tea or a hot chocolate and hopefully a wonderful time.
