Heyho :)
My name is Max, I am a 25 years old and currently living in Germany. I just recently finished my master degree in media design (Digital Media and Experiment) and I am looking forward to start the internship of my dreams at a small studio on Amsterdam.
I am very interested in design and art and I love to go to small events like gallery openings or concerts. In my free time I like to test out new hobbies which currently are basketball, chess and a bit of skating. I am really not good at any of this but I am always open to explore and learn new things! Also I like to read some books, especially in the morning with a warm coffee. Currently I am reading Harry Potter for the first time in my life... yes I know I am a bit late to the party but better late than never :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whenever I find a free period in my life I like to travel as well. Three years ago I spend more than a month couchsurfing my way from Uganda to Tanzania and this year in September I will be on a road trip along the Balkan and explore some East European countries. For that I like to use couchsurfing because it's an easy way to make contact with locals and get in touch with interesting peoples and their stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

My personal playlists are usually filled up with HipHop and contemporary stuff. If I go out for parties I also enjoy techno and electronic music and for a chilled evening at a bar I like anything live accustic.
When it comes to movies I am not a great expert. I just watch a wild mix of thriller, drama and fantasy. Thed TV show I probably enjoyed most recently was Stranger Things.
When it comes to reading I already mentioned that I am currently into Harry Potter. I always loved it but until now I have never read it. Besides this I have some lovely books from german writers that I really like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was living for one year in South Africa which was a very great experience. I learned a lot and had an amazing time meeting new people and leaving my own comfort zone.
