About Me

I am a Guatemalan student in the University of San Carlos. Right now, I am away from my country, I'll be living in France as a Spanish assistant in the city of Nancy.

With the people I do not know, I am usually quiet since I am bit shy. Still, I love making friends and crack jokes or talk about many subjects.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am really excited to meet new people, and I think couchsurfing will be a great way to do so. Also, I love travelling and meeting new places, ways of living, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. I enjoy what I think it is a wide array of genres like: Classical rock, classical music, tango, blues, a bit of pop, heavy metal... My favorite genre is jazz. I love musicians like Cannonball Adderley, Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk, Mingus, Art Blakey, Pink Floyd (Yes,they are rock, but i REALLY love 'em)...

Books... I've read many. It's hard to tell wich are my favorites. I love authors like José Saramago, Dostoievky, Vargas Llosa, García Márquez, Lovecraft, Verne, Dumas, Wells, Orwell, Huxley, Tolkien, Martin and many more.

Movies: I am not a fan of many movies or series. I am too picky. Anyways, I've enjoyed The Green Mile (I have not read the book yet), Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Le Petit Prince, Intouchables, Wall-e.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was selected to be a Spanish Assistant in France!
