Overview
About Me
We are a institution for youth and young adulds with special needs. We are doing a lot of cultural projects, among others theater and music productions. We are also very concerned with the consequences of global warming and started our own garden as a result. Throughout the year we are involved in many different projects - all from theater, music and dance to climate change, peace conference and other big issues of our time. The way we are organized is rather special. Right now we are 3 different institutions that are all connected by our common life - we eat, produce, work, discuss and live together- like a big organism. We are very international and often host between 5-10 different nationalities at a time.
here a short overview about our 3 institutions and what they do:
1. A care home for young adults, that present with massive emotional and social difficulties, often diagnosed with heavy psychological problems and/or eating disorders.
2. A weekend-school which does preventative social work with children and youngsters (age 6-17) from socially weak families. Mainly in Weekends and Holidays.
3. Apartments and pedagogical support to young adults (age 16-25 ) who present with emotional and social difficulties.
The Common life consist out of different program offered to the institutions, an Ice Cafe, and an industrial kitchen – which serves food to all the institutions and employees 7 days a week.
