Overview
About Me
I have been working in an Elementary School while being a graduate student for the past 3 years. Now that I am finally done with my formal education, I am excited for the school of life and travel. I am taking time off from my career path to become comfortable with being uncomfortable and allowing the uncertainty of life to sink in so that I can grow and learn in a new capacity.
I am passionate about prioritizing self-care, practicing yoga, living sustainability, eating local/organic food, challenging social norms, connecting with people to lift each other up, and seeking my truth.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Before I can decide where to live and how to live, I want to learn, teach, and experience alongside others from many different backgrounds, beliefs, and places. Becoming more trusting of new people and expanding my perspectives while exploring our ever-connected world is another huge reason to couchsurf for me, as I'm sure it is for many of YOU!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In February 2017 I attended a weekend event called "Florida Earthskills Gathering." There were workshops covering subjects focusing on primitive skills, survival skills, cultural skills, and awareness. It was amazing for me because it was one of those 'aha' weekends. I learned about plant identification, finding my voice, permaculture, intuition, thai massage, and more. I left the weekend buzzing, singing, and dancing; one of the best natural highs I've ever experienced. I felt free and alive. Grounded and expansive. The path of my life had shifted.
