Hi, I'm Alice. I'm 27. I live in Saint-Quay-Portrieux, a beautiful village by the sea in Britanny (France).

I got my graduation as social worker last June and I decided to travel straight away for one year in New-Zealand.

I have been cycling around NZ for almost 6 months now. Slowly but surely. It's my first cycle touring, I really enjoy it. Most of the time I travel from woofing to woofing. It's such a nice experience to give a hand and have the accommodation and the food in exchange. I like using couchsurfing to meet locals. During a trip sharing with locals and immersing myself with them is the most important thing.!
Moreever, one of the best way to meet local people is hitchhiking. I had great experiences of hitchhiking in Australia with my twin sister and now on my own in New-Zealand. I met a lot of people from everywhere. For me, it's the real side of traveling.
I love also hiking. New Zealand is an amazing place for that. I love nature and to live with as little money as possible, cycling cost me nothing :) I have the project to do another cycle tours, probably in Europe.

About HOSTING PEOPLE,
Even if I'm away from home, my father continues to host people. Most people who request to stay are walking along the coastal path, the famous GR34, and for some of them it's a long trip, then we are very pleased to offer them a hot shower and a confortable bed.
