Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet the local people to get to know their culture, habits, foods and cuisine. I do not want to spend a lot of money on accommodation, because I do not care about the expensive luxury hotels or things like that, I just want to explore and have fun with the locals. I'd love to volunteer or do some work to get to know your country better and I'm also intrested in special hidden places which are only known by the local people.
