Hello. We are Carlos Albarrán (28) and my wife Francielis Soto (27), from Venezuela but we have been living in Santiago de Chile since 2015. We are chemical engineers, both from the same university. I have been working in the manufacturing industry like Sugar, alcohol and surfactant production for 7 years, always as supervisor. Until March 2017 we were working in wastewater treatment plants but in different companies as supervisor and Francielis as chemical technician.

We started our relationship in March 2011. In Venezuela I lived with my parents and Francielis lived with her family. In our beautiful country we visited many cities together, the beaches and the mountains too. Francielis likes to cook and i love to eat, i also love to cook.

In July 2013 i visited Brazil. One year later in 2014 i came back to Brazil but this time with my girl enjoying The World cup. One year later in May 2015, we got married in Venezuela.

In June 2015 We move out to Chile because of Venezuela’s political and economic crisis. In Chile we went to many nice places but we think the best trip was in La Patagonia Chilena Punta Arenas, doing counchsurfing, it was very nice met local people thanks to CS.

2016: work, work, work, work, October: Patagonia Chilena Punta Arenas.

April 2017... Let's start our "big trip" with plan but without it at the same time...

We enjoy learning new languages, looking for experiences to expand our horizons and explore different cultures. We want to experience everything as we possibly can before starting a family.

Let's do this cuz it's gonna be better together.

See ya.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on CS because we like to interact with others and getting to know their cultures. Besides, it's the most an enriching experience. We really love the exchange and meetings.
