About Me
Dear Community,
I'm a student from Germany and I would like to explore the experience of couchsurfing.
At the moment I'm studying the german and the italian language in Freiburg, but I'm on my way to finish university.
I grew up in a little town near to the border of switzerland which is called Erzingen. I'm half italian, half austrian and I was born and raised in germany, what makes kind of international. My parents spoke to me in german so I decided to study the italian language by my own.
Travelling is one of the things I like very much, but besides some big cities in europe I didn't see many different places.
As a usual poor student, I try to save as much money as I can. Because of that I try to get familiar with communities like this!
My hobbies are reading and writing of texts in every form, inline-skating, playing basketball and streethockey, listening to various types of music, playing didgeridoo and beeing creative in as many ways as I can.
Meeting new people and making friends is also a thing, which fascinates me in beeing a student in a city, which is called a "Studentenstadt" - which means: a city full of young people.
I hope we can meet somewhen!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I decided to sign in, because I planned to do a trip throug Italy after finishing my study. Saving money is one point, why I try to do couchsurfing. The other, and much more important reason for me is to meet as many different people as I can. I want to discover my roots and learn as much as I can from the italian culture and the italian people. Like I said, I like to write texts and maybe, if I'm lucky, I learn and see so many things, that I'm able to write a book about my journey.

I prefer reading classic literature, but also some fantasy stuff, poems and things like that.
Watching movies is not one of my hobbies, but sometimes it's fun and I like almost all kinds of (good) films.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I think I have a few things I can share. Some knowledge about philosophy, music and life. Due my studies I can share some thoughts about languages in general. I like to jam with other people playing instruments.
