Hey:) I´m Nadine, 26 years old and from Frankfurt, Germany. I studied Primary Education - graduated in November 2022 and have been travelling since then - mostly in Southeast Asia but also in Australia, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
Now this trip is actually sadly coming to an end very soon - I decided to do a Master, before going back I'll explore Malaysia - Borneo, Brunei, Hong Kong and China! Would love to couchsurf again and make lots of great memories!

I found my passion for travelling when I did an exchange year in Idaho, USA in 2014. After graduating from high school I spent half a year in New Zealand. I was lucky to study in Australia for a semester. So this trip is the first one for me where I travel so several countries after another.

What else can I say about myself I love music! I sing, play piano and the guitar. I am vegan, I enjoy doing yoga and hiking :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had my first couchsurfing experience in New Zealand, and really enjoyed it! In November 2019 I went to a concert in Germany with a girl I met on Couchsurfing. This pretty much shows why I like couchrfing. To connect with poeple all over the world. To learn about different cultures and see how people live.

In 2020 I couchsurfed in Australia when I was about to start my semester abroad. Now three years later I went back and it was so great to catch up with friends I made through couchsurfing!

Pretty much since December 2022 I´ve been exploring Southeast Asia and I loved it! I also realised though that travelling for me is so much more than just checking in a new hostel every few days and checking out the tourist spots - sometimes I miss it to connect with locals and to get an idea of what their life is like. These are the moments I really enjoy while travelling.
