Hello! My name is Gabriela, I’m 21 and I’m from Valparaíso (Chile), but I was on a study exchange (kind of Erasmus) in Salamanca (Spain) and now I’m travelling through Europe with my boyfriend and partner Cristofer.

This experience has been great because I've traveled a lot (I've always wanted to do it), I've met people / friends that I'll never forget and I've grown a lot, even I learned to cook. It's the first time I live alone without my parents and it turned out well. I think it was also good because all this time I lived with Cristofer and without him it would not have been the same. I like our relationship because we are very good friends and good companions.

I’m a journalism student and I like good conversations with people. I love learn new things, I’m always reading articles and things. To raise money for this trip I worked in a local radio station in Valparaíso, which helped me a lot to define what kind of journalist or communicator I want to be.

I've always been struck by people who use Couchsurfing. I follow a blogger who has traveled all over the world like this and always found the cultural exchange between guests and hosts very cool. I like that this is disinterested and based on the trust of the people and I would like to be part of that.

I am a quiet person, sometimes a little grandmother hahaha but I am friendly, respectful, neat and I also like to talk. I like simple things like watching series (I love GoT), listen to music, eat, driking tea and I love beer. My english is not very good but I’m trying to improve :)

I love Earth Wind and Fire and 70’s music, Red Hot Chili Peppers and I listen a lot of latinamerican music.
I don‘t know what is my favourite book, but I like reading magazines and anything that call my atention. Lately I watch more series than movies, but I like Django unchained. I'm currently watching Vikings, I'm a fan of GoT, Gray's Anatomy, I've seen Breaking Bad, Narcos, Dark, Stranger Things, Las Chicas del Cable, Brooklyn 99, Black Mirror, House of Cards, and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I went to Machu Picchu walking and I’m not good for sports so it was very hard for me haha but it was worth it.
