About Me
Hi! I´m a 19-years-old high school graduate who´s currently spending her gap year by traveling down East coast in Australia with a friend from Germany (Annika Kessel). Our next destination is New Zealand which became our second home during our high school exchange year in 2014-2015.
Back home I´m a big sister for five little siblings of mine. I would describe myself as lively, social and energetic person who is interested of pretty much everything and always keen on learning new things or ready for an adventure. I enjoy especially meeting new people and friends, doing sports, music and being outdoors as well as enjoying good food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I came to Australia to both see the stunning country and meet people and get to know more with different cultures. I find couchsurfing a great way of meeting the locals, sharing stories and seeing the normal life of Aussies.
Interests
I have played classical piano for 12 years and done different kinds of sports for pretty much all my life.
- music
- piano
- hiking
- sports
- food
- learning new things

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all music from classical (Beethoven is great) to pretty much anything (Coldplay is also great)
And movies and books.. In the wild, life of Pi, the Hunger games, Shopaholic and Marvel..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went tramping for 5 days in New Zealand with my school and on the third day our teacher decided to start walking at 4 in the morning. Well.. we got up in the dark and started walking through this open area just to almost get ran over by a herd of wildhorses. Obviously made it alive but the day was one of the most memorable days in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Two of my Australia-missions are to learn to play the ukulele and surf
