I am very kind, fun and always willing to help, teach and learn. I like to meet people from other cultures and share everything I know about Mexico and everything I have learned in my 22 years of life. I study medicine in Mexico City and decided to take a semester to travel and get to know the world.

I will be traveling around the world untill June 2018 but I would love to host after that.

Me gusta conocer personas de otras culturas y compartirles todo lo que se de México y lo que he aprendido en mis 22 años de vida. Estudio medicina en la Ciudad de México y decidí tomarme un semestre para viajar y conocer el mundo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want my travel experience not only to know the cities and allow me to meet people with whom I can share my culture and learn from theirs. I also hope to help travelers who are in Mexico, teach them interesting things about my country and have interesting conversations.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like jazz and rock, Pink Floyd, Snarky Puppy , Manu Chao and Bela Fleck & the Flecktones are my favorite groups; but I like it better when someone else teach me music that I do not know yet. I like all kinds of movies but Stanley Kubrick is my favorite director. The books I've read from Oliver Sacks helped me realize how much I love the human mind and also help jme decide that I wanted to study medicine. I have always liked adventure novels but lately I like to read things about philosophy and pedagogy.

Me gusta todo tipo de cine pero Stanley Kubrick es mi director favorito. Los libros que he leído de Oliver Sacks me ayudaron a darme cuenta de lo mucho que me apasiona la mente humana y a decidir qué quería estudiar medicina. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I joined an education campaign. For 6 months I was preparing with a group of young people and we went 2 months to a poor and marginalized community in the Sierra de Puebla in Mexico to teach reading, writing, history, health, etc. In addition to teaching I also learned many things about cooking, agriculture, alternative medicine and art typical of the area.

El año pasado me uní a una campaña de alfabetización. Durante 6 meses estuve preparándose junto a un grupo de jóvenes y nos fuimos 2 meses a una comunidad marginada en la sierra de Puebla en México a dar clases de lectoescritura, historia, salud, etc. Además de enseñar también aprendí muchas cosas sobre cocina, agricultura, medicina alternativa y manualidades típicas de la zona.
