I' m 24, a biology major at Georgia State University, and am going on my first solo trip to Spain in January. I'm excited to connect with people from somewhere different than where I'm from, and to talk about life from different perspectives. I'm definitely a little quiet at first, but very friendly and personable. I love trying new things, and am excited to see Barcelona. I've always wanted to see the architecture, but as I get older I'm really excited to connect with the people who make their home there and who are a part of the community.

I really want to connect with the local community rather than just fellow travelers, and see where people go, and see the local fabric more intimately than most people going through Barcelona would. I've wanted to go to Barcelona for years, and I feel like I'd be doing a disservice to only see the tourist places.
