I am Ilse, and I am passionate about travelling and travel photography. Now that I just finished uni I would like to spend time and effort on pursuing my passions. And that's why I am solo backpacking for about four months now :).

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Although I love meeting fellow backpackers in hostels as well, I also want to grasp the opportunity to meet locals and thereby get to know the "real" culture and the thoughts and interests of the a country's inhabitants. Also not unimportant is that I would like to figure out about living in Australia as I am currently considering applying for a working holiday visa here. Last but least, travelling cheaply makes you travel longer!

Music: I love the combination of singer-songwriters (Rag 'n Bone Man, John Mayer, Gavin James, James Arthur) and (rock)bands (Bastille, Imagine Dragons, Arctic Monkeys, One Republic) during the day, with EDM and techno in the evening.

Books: currently reading one of the most inspiring books I have ever read, called "the monk who sold his ferrari". It brought me to Myanmar.
