As I prepare for traveling I spend my time working three jobs (substitute high school teacher, adjunct professor, and Best Buy) and working out by jogging, going to planet fitness, and coaching a kickboxing class 3 nights a week. I love listening to music that I've never heard before (especially indie, alternative, hard rock, and hip-hop) and reading Stephen King books (working on "Sleeping Beauties" right now).

My goal is to travel the US (and maybe the world) to find out how other people live and to find out what it is I want in life. Do I want to become a lawyer? A teacher? An ice road trucker? I don't know what I want or where I'm headed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't want to travel so that I can take pictures of things I've already seen pictures of. I don't want to drink Bud Light alone in 50 different American cities. I want to see how you live and check out the stuff (food, drinks, sights, events) that makes you say "I love it here!". I want to hear what you have to say. I bet we can make each other laugh and learn cool stuff from one another. End goal is to discover a new place to live and a new way of supporting myself.
