Overview
About Me
My name is Hela and I'm 22 years old. I'm currently on Erasmus in Tübingen. I fell in love with travelling. I totally adore the freedom that it gives! My biggest travelling experience has been spending two awesome months in Northen Ireland, working in a summercamp - I tried there so many new things! Jumping from 15 metres into the see, sleeping on a Dublin street, sitting at the seeshore at 3 am and talking about life :D simply totally random and unexpected stuff, things that I'll never forget. When I'm at home I love cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, drawing and DIY - of course when I'm going somewhere I make sure that I bring something original for my host ;D I also adore walking in countryside and hiking in the mountain (e.g. Vysoké Tatry in Slovakia are awesome) and last but not the least meeting new people and being surprised.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity of meeting new people and getting out of a stereotypical life because when you're travelling things almost always don't go exactly the way that you plan which can bring so many unforgetful memories :D.
I'm also keen of giving to people because I believe that that brings you sometimes even more joy then receiving so I definitely want you to get something from me in exchange - my time, experience, a gift, help, or just talking together :))).

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of LOTR, and all cartoons from Myazaki. There is nothing better then drinking a nice cup of tea and watching Spirited away!
I'm a person who listens to a loads of types of music - so I'll write down here what is right now coming on my mind. Beatles, Queens, Guns N' Roses,Oasis, Pink Floyd, Glen Hansard, Irish music...
I haven't had that much time for reading recently but when I do I can always read some fantasy like Pillars of the Earth or something from Terry Goodkind. Currently reading Alchemist.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I prepared with my roommate an international dinner for our new friends from Portugal, which came to Brno for and Erasmus. We cooked some Czech food for them and they made an amazing carrot cake for us and we talked like for 4 hours and it was so enriching!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm eager to learn something about your country and culture - I would be totally thankful if you answered me my curious questions and maybe showed me something interesting what is special for your homeland. And if you could teach me to cook some your food I would feel at the top off the world! :D
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you how to cook some Czech food, And of course if there is anything I can help you with I would love to share my time with you and give you hand!
