About Me

I've worked for seven years in the Brazilian Air Force as an air traffic controller but had always dreamed of traveling the world and getting to know different cultures and places. On July 2018 I set out to make this dream come true, going abroad for the first time, on a exchange trip to Ireland to study english for a while and then set out on a backpack trip throughout Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be able to connect to people from a different background than mine, truly experience their lifestyles, exchange culture and personal stories, but, most of all, to make good friends I hope to host someday. I believe that traveling is not just going to places, it mainly comprises of the people you meet on the way :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really eclectic when it comes to music. It goes from metal to classic and indie, going through brazilian music and some genres of electronic.

I'm a big fan of fantasy literature. My favourite ones are The Lord of the Rings and The Name of the Wind. I've also devoured all of the Ice and Fire chronicles books.

As for movies, I like the thought provoking ones, regardless of genre. Nevertheless, blockbusters are also enjoyable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling Europe solo for three months without any itinerary or having to pay for accommodation :)

I've been to the first two concerts of System Of A Down in Brazil, in different states and in consecutive days.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to chat and share life experiences. Learn about the personal background of the people I meet and listen to their stories. Life is basically a constant lesson.

And I can teach Portuguese as well :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to see myself as an easy going and respectful guest, always wiling to help and connect to people around me. As a gesture of gratitude, I usually cook dinner :)

Countries I’ve Visited
