Über mich

**** FIRST AND FOREMOST: fully vaccinated since May 30th ****

Born and raised in France, in a family attached to French roots and values, I always felt the need to travel and explore the world. When I was younger, I had the incredible chance to visit some neighbor-countries, like Italy, Spain, Germany, and England, but I always wanted more.

So, when I had the opportunity, I traveled to Canada to do a student-exchange program and fell in love with the Quebec region (amazing outdoor activities). When I came back to Paris, I had a choice: pursue a career in banking and earn good money, or let it go. At that time, I met an amazing woman whose goal was to work in Mexico and I followed her there, not speaking a word of Spanish at the time, and with no visa. It ended up being an incredible one-year-and-a-half journey.

But I still had one objective: visit the US and go back to the Northeast region that I fell in love with during my time in Quebec. So I found a job in Boston and emigrated there. And here I am, almost 2 years later.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I'm a little bit old school when it comes to music and always refer to Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Neil Young, or Tracy Chapman.

Huge fan of the Cohen Brothers' movies (they never disappointed me)

I love two read classics, especially Russian literature and novels from the hard-boiled school.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Tough question ... I guess what I'm the proudest of is how I change things in my life. Things that don't work or hurt me: like bad food, bad relationships, screen addiction, or other things like that. And, when I look back and see what I've accomplished in the last months and years, I feel amazing.

But ... will it sound amazing to someone else? Probably not. Guess, I tried at least haha.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Love to cook with people (though I'm not an incredible cook), love to play music and sing, love to share a drink, and play the wannabe philosopher.

Also love to talk about books (big hard-boiled school and Russian literature fan), sports (if you hate sport, don't start me on soccer, American football, and basketball).

Finally, love to share language learning tips (it's always great to improve on this).
