About Me
Hi everyone! I'm a psychology student, currently working on my PhD :) I am originally from Voronezh, Russia and moved to Lubbock, TX a few year ago. I love simple things - meeting new people, travelling and learning new languages. These experiences are the most precious things I possess.
I haven’t hosted in a while, but I’m slowly getting back to it now that I have my own place. I’ve had the best experiences through Couchsurfing, and I’m forever grateful to the people who hosted me. These were some of my most memorable travel experiences and I will always cherish these memories.
My research is about language, learning, and human brain. If you ask me about these topics be prepared that it will be quite hard to stop me. In my free time I love dancing (I am also a member of a local Latin Dance Club), watching movies, and hanging out with my cat. I’m an outdoorsy person—I love hiking, hugging trees, and taking naps on the grass.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I learned about couchsurfing I was amased by the whole idea and decided to give it a try.
When I travel I want to know the real places, what it s like, what the people are like, why this and that's and the same I try to give to the people I host.
It s a great place to share, discover amazing people and even make new friendships!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not so much into typical Hollywood comedies and I can't watch horror films (kinda hypersensitive to stuff like that), but besides that, I like all kinds of films.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Managed to survive alone in a foreign country without knowing a language.
Also taught my friend's parrot to say "get me out of this body". (Yeah ... I'm proud.)
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach you how to cook some Russian dishes , will be more than happy to show you around the town:)
I would love to learn some bits of your language, find out about your favourite travelling destinations, music, films, cooking recipes, stories.... whatever drives you in life!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A couch, cleen sheets and of course food, because there is nothing better for starting conversation and sharing.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Spain
