About Me

Hi there!

I'm an architecture student, and have lived and studied in Budapest, Hungary for most of my life. I spent last year in Montpellier, France on Erasmus which made me want to discover and live in many more places.
At the moment, I’ve just finished an internship at a Dutch architectural firm and am interrailing around Europe to discover the continent even more.
I love traveling and getting out of my comfort zone bit by bit.

I feel like it’s important to mention this as a solo girl traveler, I do not use CS as a dating app.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think travelling is more meaningful if you try to meet locals and get to know them. Usually I'm a bit shy at first but I like to get out of my comfort zone and have conversations with people :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love alternative/indie/contemporary rock the most, but I listen to almost all kinds of music. Right now I’m very much into French music from the ‘50s-‘70s and French contemporary rap as well as indie such as Peach Pit.
My favourite genre of movie is for sure romantic/drama, like The young Victoria or Call me by your name. I also love documentaries, especially covering environmental issues and astronomy. And in the past two years I’ve discovered animes (and mangas) so now a piece of my heart also belongs to Japanese culture.
As for books, I prefer stories with a bit of a non-cliché romantic part and I’d like to read more classics from the 19-20th century (which sounds quite vague but I’d be interested in many genres).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met a very kind person in Coimbra, Portugal by chance. We spent the whole day together, discussed many things even sneaked into a closed church ruin (it was beautiful!). Unfortunately we didn’t get to exchange contacts but i’ll always cherish this memory.
It reminded me of the film ‘Before sunrise’- just without the romantic part.
