Overview
About Me
Two years ago I went to Portugal to start build my little permaculture paradise. But oct 15th 2017
forestfires destroyed most of it, my house is gone. I will start to rebuild, but I am planning to escape the winter by travelling a bit.
Because my couch burned with the rest of my stuff, hosting people would be difficult at the moment, but if you bring your tent, you could camp on my land.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like I wrote above, I just lost my house, and want to do some travelling. I like to meet local people when I am travelling, so I would prefer couchsurfing over a hotel or hostel. But to be honest, I also cannot afford the latter option.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like lots of styles of music, from classical to contemporary electronical music (IDM).
Movies: Mostly prefer arthouse and classic movies over the Hollywood blockbusters.
Books: Russian classics, Pirandello, Sciascia, Orwell, Huxley, Kafka, Melville, and so on.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was living in the city of Amsterdam, working in a kitchen, a low payed job in an expensive city. I wanted to leave the city and go for a more natural life. I am proud I just quit my job and went to make my dream come true! I still don't regret this move, even after this terrible forest fires.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you dutch, or (vegetarian) cooking, playing go, some gardening..
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could cook you a nice meal, after more than ten years working as a chef, I dare to say I can so some cooking!
I also like to share my worldview with others, and exchange thoughts.
