About Me
Hello there!
I'm a friendly and easy going person. I come from Ponferrada, in the North-West of Spain but I've been living in Madrid the last 6 years since I started university. I love nature, sport and specially travelling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I think the most authentic way to travel is by meeting the local people of the places you visit. For me travelling is not about taking a picture in the most famous landmarks of the countries you visit, it is about getting to know the local people, their culture, how they live, their language, how they spent their free time, ... and living experiences that you never forget.
Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite films: Let's see, a lot of them haha, "The great debaters", "Warrior", "Gladiator", "Lions for Lambs", "Good Will Hunting", "Dead Poets society", "Apollo XII", "American History X", "La vita è bella", "Ciudade de Deus", "Harry Potter", ...
Favourite books: "Stieg Larsson's trilogy", Don Winslow's books, ...
Favourite music: Latin/Spannish music in general, specially "Orishas" and "Juan Luis Guerra", folk/celtic like Dropkick Murphys, rock classics like Bon Jovi or Metallica and others like Sexion D'Assaut or Zaz.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can't say I'm a cook but I enjoy teaching Spanish typical dishes. I also enjoy learning knew dishes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Depending on the time I have I can show them the city at daytime and bring them to the places where local university students party.
