Until recently, I have lived a pretty simple lifestyle... going to university straight after school. But a few weeks into working after completing my masters, I realized that I needed to change that. So, I have quit my job and decided to go on a journey around the world.
I have started in New Zealand since that is as far away from home as I could get. But I don’t know where it will take me and when it will end. I just want to go with the flow, meet cool, open minded and easygoing people, and don’t want to be limited by any fixed itineraries of around the world tickets or similar things. In short, I’m on the pursuit of happiness. And, along the way, trying to experience something new every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love to meet cool people, who welcome travelers not for money but for fun.

And that is exactly what my first longer trip with couchsurfing to Melbourne was like. I’ve been shown around by very nice and interesting people, who really allowed me to travel like a local.

Music, Movies, and Books

Chilled music... it’s hard to describe the genre for me, a British guy once called it very slow Trans. I think I enjoy lots of different styles of music, like Lorde, Petit Biscuit, or Above&Beyond.

I’m more into tv series. Consequently, Game of Thrones is my favorite ;) but I also like Suits, 13 reasons why, and house of cards.

For books I go with the all time favorite of my generation... Harry Potter.
