Overview
About Me
Just moved to Cologne and happy to host whenever I have time and space 🤗
General: I’m from Germany, lived and studied in the US as an international student athlete. Played soccer and finished my bachelors in psychology. Now I am continuing my studies to become a psychotherapist, if I do not invent a concept first that will make the world a bit better and help more people at the same time.
I love nature and exploring the world, thus try to take every chance I get to travel new places and meet new people. Love living the CS spirit and meeting like-minded people all over the world. I feel like we're all connected and not so different after all :)
You could maybe also stay at my parents house in the Mosel (river) area near Bernkastel-Kues (Between Cologne, Frankfurt and the country Luxembourg). Lovely area to relax, ride the bike and enjoy a good glass of the regional Riesling wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love exploring, traveling and getting to know new people, their culture and places all over the world. I love the idea of “giving and receiving” and I would always pick a couch in a shared room over a private hotel room!
I’m an outgoing, enthusiastic, open-minded, spontaneous and fun person.

Teach, Learn, Share
At the moment, my mission is to develop a concept to make mental health care accessible to everyone, anywhere. I am somewhat disgusted by capitalism you could say (meaning the system where someone "sick" is more profitable so we do not help then as best/most effective as needed). Therefore trying to find a way without money. One idea: creating retreats, where patient build/paint furniture, cook, garden, paint pictures etc. as part of the therapeutic process and then sell those created things and use the money as payment for general costs. Happy to further discuss this and other ideas to make the world a better place!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Travel stories, optimistic/enthusiastic/hedonistic mindset, psychological concepts, poetry, ideas about how to make the world a better place and be/make others (and yourself) happier, can cook/bake tasty and healthy vegetarian, cultural differences 🇩🇪 🇺🇸, can teach/play ball sports, teach German or English, we can talk about beer or wine (especially Riesling from my area) and I’ll bring a lot of fun and charisma with my dry, sarcastic humor :)
