Hello, with my family we will travel together, through New Zealand, for 7 weeks, Australia for 2 weeks....and at our return in Europe : Portugal for 3 weeks ;-)
We consider this trip like an experience for the family to be closer to the nature, and because of the ages of our children we want to open their mind about all possibilities around the world and "everything is possible, trust in life and chance" .
My Husband and me would love to improve our english too ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To realize our project we have plannified home exchange, hostel, camp.... and couchsurfing ;-)
We love to immerse ourselves in the country, enjoy time with our children, to share, to discover others cultures and to feel that this will be a rewarding experience... and meeting people is one of the best ways to achieve our goal ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

The main one for me: Don Miguel Ruiz The four Toltec agreements, because I think that communicating well is hard but the most important! and many other books on gardening, education, personal development, comics... and travel guides!! we are a family who love reading.
All kinds of music but I like to understand the meaning of the lyrics so most of the time I prefer French songs ;-) but Imagine de John Lennon and Yann tiersen are must !
We prefer films to television series, I would like to have more time to introduce our children to the 7th art, but I must say that I am not a specialist, we do not devote much time to television, as we watch it only on weekends...
But I hope I have time to watch before our trip: Lord of the Rings and the Endless Summer ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going for 3 months with our children through the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden. During our trip we did woofing, camping, house exchange and couchsurfing... it's great memories for us to be welcomed by a family with children the same age as ours, but our children remember little of this trip because they were 2 years old and 5 years.
That's why we want to stop time again for this memorable family break !

What I Can Share with Hosts

way of life, advices to visit local, tips, surfing...
At home we are more used to welcoming workawayers for a few weeks (5 great experiences), so we understand how to be useful in daily tasks, and will be happy to cook for you, or whatever.... and we also know that when we have a family life, we cannot be 100% available to guests, and will therefore also know how to be discreet ;-)
