As Daniel J. Boorstin once said: "The traveler was active; he went strenuously in search of people, of adventure, of experience. The tourist is passive; he expects interesting things to happen to him. He goes 'sight-seeing'." I do not ever want to be the tourist again. I want to be the traveler, who lives things actively and passionately. Because that is who I am, that is what makes me happy.

But firstly, who am I?
My name is David Pérez de la Cruz, I am 25 years old and a fifth Semester student at the University of Berne, Switzerland, majoring in Business Administration. I suppose the majority of people would call me "a funny guy that looks tough on the outside, but is actually respectful and friendly on the inside".
Although I was born in Switzerland and grew up in this country, I am from spanish origin. Therefore, I have had a very multicultural environment from the beginning and know how to adapt myself
open-mindedly. The best example would be my trip to Sri Lanka: without knowledge of the language or the culture I still made myself feel at home.
