My name is Lans, 28 years old, raised in a small dutch village and since 10 years I live in Amsterdam. My job is at the city council of Amsterdam, where I advice other professionals about Amsterdam citizens with complex problems. Currently I am living with 3 amazing roommates in the centre of Amsterdam. In the weekends I love to visit the nature, swim, run and hike. Or visit a club, concert or restaurant with friends. I also enjoy arthouse cinema, reading books and cooking vegetarian meals.

I am always very curious and open minded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The thing about hostels is that you are always with other travellers, which can be really fun. However, I also love to really get to know a culture and learn about the country I visiting. Staying in someone's house is a really cool way to learn about the persons life and culture.

Teach: psychology workhops about stressmanagement & scientific theories about mental issues. You can always ask me anything about psychology - However on a philosofical level I do believe Socrates: 'all I truly know is that I know nothing'

Share: I am a certified hairstylist in my spare time so I can give you a free haircut!
I do love to cook, I am already for over 15 years vegetarian > so if you want a healty veggie based meal, I can do it!

Learn: I do love to learn about you & and your culture. Right now I have as a goal to speak fluently Spanish before I turn 30 years old. So I would love to practice my Spanish with you.
