About Me

After having finished school last summer I'm taking a year off to make new and different experiences. Earlier this year I volunteered in Ghana for three months. Next I hope to get to get to know people living in Thailand to learn more about the country, lifestyle and culture.

'This day is a good day to have a good day' - may be a silly saying but still is so true. Everything in live, whether negative or positive, adds to your intellectual and emotional knowledge: It's just all about how you approach new challenges and deal with struggles.
That's what I'm trying to bear in my heart and - partly through meditation - am still learning to live after. Hence I love to discuss and exchange thoughts: philosophical, psychological but also about politics, society or something completely new.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What an amazing chance to meet interested&open people and see the world.
Personal contact makes the difference whether you really get to know a place or just walk on the purely touristic paths.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hard to tell; changing rapidly and choosing one is doing injustice to the other...

Charlie Cunningham, 'Wild World' by Cat Stevens, Bach&co - just whatever crosses my ear and stays in my mind.
'Inception', 'The Imitation Game' - and of course always nice to watch a good, old 'Harry Potter'
'Die Mitte der Welt' von Andreas Steinhöfel

are quite quite high in ranking right now...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Parachute Jumping

Teach, Learn, Share

I grew up with the German language&culture and will share it with pleasure. Nevertheless I love to get to know new cultures; habits, make them my own - so my German culture might not be 'purely' German and - who knows - maybe one day I'm sharing my experiences from your place back home.

Since I studied in the UK for a year and spent some more time abroad my English is fluent.
On top of that I'm experienced in working with children, at home I do a lot of cooking&baking and also enjoy drawing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

All my experiences, questions, stories. Fun and a lot of thankfulness for a place to sleep.
