Hello! I'm an 19-year-old girl and I've just finnished high school. I decided to take a gap year before going to university and right now I have some travels ahead of me!

During high school I studied Science. I really like Biology, Sustainability and Science in general. I also do enjoy being outside and I'm keen on plants and their beauty. I love to be sorrounded by Nature, the life we can achive there and the feelings we get.

On the other hand I've been always fascinated by more artistic activities. Since I was very young I started having dance and theater classes, and those are two things that I'm passionated about. I've always liked to draw and paint too. Another passion I have is the ocean and all the landescapes around it. And I do love to surf!

Traveling is another one of my passions!
I realized that taking this gap year would be an oportunity to travel and get to know new places, new people, a whole other world in the same planet! I decided that one thing I wanted to do during my life, is to get to know the world I live in. So why not start now?

So now I'm planning a few backpacking travels! I'm going to South America and Southeast Asia. Hopefully we meet somewhere!

I've been traveling a lot with my parents since I was young, but now I want to live a different experience. I want to truly get to know the countries and their people, the good things, but the bad sides too, not only the superficial touristic sights. I'm really interested in learning! That's the main reason for me to be searching for some couches to surf on!

BOOKS: Lemony Snicket (who I loved when I was younger), Roald Dahl, Neil Gaiman, Paul Auster...

I'm really excited about meeting new people and having the chance to talk with them and get to know them. I'm curious about whatever you're willing to share with me about your country, the place you live in and your life. It would be delightful to talk about Portugal if you want!
