I define myself as a passionate and adventurous traveller.
One of my greatest passion is nature and dedicating my life to protecting wild animal populations and their natural environment has always been my childhood dream. I believe that the beauty of the respectful observation of wild animals in their natural environment, as part of a bigger cycle of life, is one of the most profound feelings and gifts we can receive from life.

I consider myself an independent and open-minded girl, curious by nature. I love reading, listening to music, going to the cinema, skating and playing different outdoor sports. In general, I like listening to stories and learn and get enriched from other's life perspective.

During my travels as a solo backpacker, I have been lucky enough to meet many beautiful people, make life-lasting memories.

I always look for new ways to travel this world on a budget, alternative and authentic experiences.
My wondering brought me to South America and Africa. Still, as a student I was spending all my summer time volunteering in remote locations in the Amazon Ecuadorian rainforest, or in wildlife centres in South Africa. Another summer I've spent backpacking, cycling and camping across South East Asia. I've also travelled using the workaway platform, helping with a wide range of tasks such as permaculture, gardening, cooking etc. In 2020, I landed in Argentina, where I lived for 8 months completing my veterinary internships and making a lifetime exchange experience.

Finally, I had the immense luck to live for 4 unforgettable months in Malawi, a place that will always remain in my heart. There I was working on my degree thesis project on African wildlife and I would say that this experience was the turning point that made me unconditionally fall in love with Africa and its incredible nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in Couchsurfing because I want to travel like a local, having the opportunity to meet different cultures, people and places in the most authentic way.

I want to live this life fully, with people that share my vision of the world. We need little to be truly happy: the silence of a night under a sky full of stars, share moments with good old and new friendships, laughs but also deep conversation in front of a good glass of wine, the fresh air of the mountains and the adrenaline of new places to discover and experience.
