Overview
About Me
Call me: Remi. I have the exact same nickname for almost 10 years.
I am a guy from Peru who has been already living in Budapest, Hungary for around 2 years.
Before Hungary, I was living 2 months in Argentina, where I was volunteering. I have been a volunteer in an organization for almost 4 years.
I studied Psychology, though now I realized I'd have love to study something like Bussiness Administration.
Also, as many of the people here, I like traveling.
I like to write, and I started posting some articles in a personal blog regarding some thoughts and also some experiences. Unfortunately, it is just in Spanish yet, feel free to check it out:

I love nice and deep conversations. But I also love to party a lot and have fun! I think we can always learn something new from each situation and from any person, and there is no need why to have just one tag.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In the past, with my family, we hosted people from different countries, that were volunteers in Peru. With some, we are still in touch and met later in different places.
That´s how the connection with other cultures started, I want to keep doing that when is people coming here to Budapest, where I live, and also if I go to other countries I´d like to meet new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in high school and also my first years of university, I didn´t like to go to presentations when I had to do public speaking.
I usually skipped this, even if it meant I was going to fail my course. It´s just that it made me feel so anxious and nervous.
Some years ago, I met some people, and I realized I could also do public speaking. Now is one of the things I like the most, and I try to participate whenever I have the chance.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can give you some tips or ideas if you need to speak in public soon and still do not know how. Also, I can learn from you, if you have other ways to do it.
Of course, I am not an expert, but I can help with what I´ve experienced.
Also, I can teach you some Spanish words, phrases, or we can practice if you already know some!
What I Can Share with Hosts
We, Peruvians, know our food as one of the most delicious in the world. We always talk about it. Just to be fair, I am no professional chef or anything similar, but I can share with you one of the dishes I know how to prepare: Lomo Saltado.
We should go together to get the ingredients, and then we can prepare it together!
Also we can talk about whatever you want, we can go to a bar or a club if you feel like. Or we can take a walk in the city.
